So today’s guest was the CEO and Founder of Magnify.net. Steve Rosenbaum. This short bio was provided to me for reference, and I though you may wish to view a little bit of background on Steve:

If you want to see where the future of media is going, just ask Steve Rosenbaum to draw you a map.  He’s following a path that he single-handedly charted starting back in 1993 when he developed, created and produced the groundbreaking MTV UNfiltered. Shot entirely by viewers, UNfiltered marked the first fully user-created program in television history and was the model used by Vice President Al Gore for CURRENT.TV (which was another notch on Rosenbaum’s consulting belt). Along the way networks like CBS, A&E, and HBO all counted on Rosenbaum to help them explore and deploy user-generated video in programming. But while his resume may detail a long list of historical firsts, Rosenbaum is more focused on where video is headed.

Today, Rosenbaum’s latest company (he has founded 3 others) is Magnify.net, the fastest growing user-generated video network on the web, which boasts more than 40,000 channels.

For Rosenbaum, the true power of storytelling rests not with the storyteller, but in the hands of the audience. By launching Magnify.net, Rosenbaum continues to share his passion for the audience and vision for the future of media.
